Our process includes psychometric testing utilising Effectus Consulting’s pre-employment solutions including an assessment of problem-solving ability. Resourceful Pro can customise the suite of tests used for each role. Candidates complete questionnaires online and clients are provided with succinct and easy to read reports providing critical information about each candidate as well as how they rank against each other.
Personality as an indicator of behaviour
Personality can be a good predictor of how people behave at work. Resourceful Pro utilises the Effectus Consulting’s pre employment solutions to identify an individual’s preferred way to think, feel and behave, at work.
Individual preferences are summarised across five domains; social drive (including confidence and discipline); connections (preferred interaction style and levels of trust); thinking (dealing with change, complexity of thoughts, ideas and solutions); work style; and emotions. Candidate responses are compared to the responses of the norm group – 60,000 people from over 55 countries – who have completed the test previously to offer an indication of preferred behavioural preferences for each candidate.
Business problem solving capabilities
Research consistently finds that strong problem-solving capabilities are associated with how quickly people learn, how much job knowledge they acquire, the speed and accuracy of problem solving and their ability to innovate (when combined with certain personality traits).
Our comprehensive assessment evaluates a candidate’s ability to solve business problems by presenting them with a range of challenges. Responses are compared with those of professionals in relevant industries and each candidate is given a performance percentile.
