Founders, Brent Russell and Christian Sticklen first met in 2006. Through a budding friendship and shared values, the pair quickly left their mark on the Energy, Oil & Gas, Mining, Infrastructure & Utilities sectors, becoming the go-to recruiters for many of Australia's leading organisations and projects.
However, they grew frustrated with the direction the Recruitment Industry was heading. Too many agencies were hell bent on making a quick sale, treating candidates like a product, and clients like they didn't matter. Consequently, they witnessed service quality slip and consultants burn out.
Believing that “clients and candidates deserve better” Brent and Christian set out to shake up the industry, launching Resourceful Recruitment in 2012.
From humble beginnings, working out of an office no bigger than a store room, Brent and Christian built an organisation that kept service quality and true partnerships at the forefront.
They created a mature, fun, and flexible work environment that allowed for individual creativity and leadership at every level. Their passion for health, fitness and wellbeing filtered into the company culture. Today Resourceful Recruitment staff enjoy flexible work hours, take extended lunch breaks to go to the gym, and take time out to support their kids at school events.
